Since when has our planet relied on Finance to be saved?

In Geneva over the past few days, Building Bridges and, even closer to home, "Les essentiels de la Finance" organized by BCGE - Banque Cantonale de Genève have been an opportunity to hear about the role of finance in this context of global warming, the famous sustainable finance.

Concretely for our SMEs and at our level, what exactly are we talking about?

Does this subject have consequences for the SMEs I support? If so, what are they, and how can we provide answers?

My customer assignments are always comprehensive, although some are sometimes more "efficient" because of the stakes involved.

This was the case for an SME that suffered a violent cyber attack within 24 hours. I was already supporting this SME, which enabled me to react very quickly and set up an agile unblocking of the situation.

Today, the company is doing well and continuing to grow; I remain at their side for everything relating to cash management, profitability and reporting to partners.

A long-lasting, constructive relationship demonstrates just how essential it is to support SMEs in matters such as securing cash flow, controlling profitability, and setting up dashboards and indicators, and how vital it can be in emergency situations.

This is one of the reasons why I decided to follow the university diploma in Business and Financial Asset Valuation directed by the two eminent professors Philippe Raimbourg and Eric Lamarque. 

This 180-hour training course was given by research professors and, above all, by professionals from the French Society of Valuators and from major Parisian firms.

This training allowed me to acquire concepts, financial techniques and valuation methods that will allow me to better respond to the challenges of the business world and my clients.

I stepped out of my comfort zone by taking very high level courses, but I didn't give up. Receiving my diploma from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne is surely one of my fondest memories!
